Raghu Kunche was born on 1975-06-13 in Gadarada village, Rajamahendravaram (East Godavari), Andhra Pradesh, India. He grew up in a modest agrarian family and developed a passion for music early in life, inspired by natural sounds and rural traditions. His career began as a television anchor and dubbing artist, where he lent his voice to several actors before stepping into playback singing.
His playback debut came in 2000 with the film Bachi, and he has since sung over 1,000 songs in Telugu cinema. In 2009, he made his debut as a music director with Bumper Offer, which earned him the Nandi Special Jury Award. Over the years, Raghu composed music for films like Aha Naa Pellanta (2011), Daggaraga Dooramga (2011), Palasa 1978 (2020), and Gedela Raju Kakinada Taluka (2026).
Apart from music, Raghu Kunche has acted in films such as Palasa 1978 (2020), Crazy Uncles (2021), and Batch (2022). His versatility allows him to play hero, villain, and character roles. He has also produced films and worked extensively in television.
Raghu is married to Karuna, a classical artist, and they have two children: Geethardh and Raga Pushyami. His career reflects resilience, adaptability, and a passion for creativity across multiple domains of entertainment.
