Rajisha Vijayan was born in Kozhikode, Kerala, and raised across North India in an army household. She pursued Mass Communication and Journalism at Amity University, Noida, before stepping into the entertainment industry. She began her career as a television host and quickly transitioned into films, making her debut in Anuraga Karikkin Vellam (2016), which earned her the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress.
Over the years, she has built a reputation for portraying strong, relatable female characters in films like June (2019), Karnan (2021), and Jai Bhim (2021). Her versatility across Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu cinema has made her one of the most dependable performers in South Indian cinema.
