Rakul Preet Singh is an Indian actress and model who works in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films. She was born on October 10, 1990 in New Delhi, India, into a Punjabi Sikh family. She attended Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan and Jesus and Mary College, where she earned a degree in mathematics. Her father is an army officer, and her mother is Rajender Kaur.
Singh made her acting debut in the 2009 Kannada film Gilli, and then appeared in the 2011 Telugu and Tamil films Keratam and Yaariyan in 2014. She is known for her roles in hit movies like Venkatadri Express (2013) and Nannaku Prematho.
