She holds a BSc in Mathematics (Honours) from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi.
She pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Communications Media at Sophia College, Mumbai.
She later trained in acting at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune.
She is married to actor Mukul Chadda since 2010.
She is passionate about Urdu poetry and enjoys reading and writing.
