Raveena Tandon, born on 26 October 1972 in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra, is an acclaimed Indian actress who rose to fame in the 1990s as one of Bollywood’s leading stars. The daughter of filmmaker Ravi Tandon, she made her debut with Patthar Ke Phool (1991), which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Known as the “Mast Mast Girl” after her hit song from Mohra (1994), Raveena became a household name with her striking screen presence and versatile performances in films like Dilwale (1994), Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), and Ziddi (1997). Over the years, she established herself as a powerhouse performer, balancing commercial success with critically acclaimed roles.

Her career took a significant turn with her performance in Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence (2001), which earned her the National Film Award for Best Actress. Beyond films, Raveena has worked as a producer, television personality, and philanthropist.
