Roopa Koduvayur was born on 2000-12-27 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. She completed her schooling at Amali English Medium High School and pursued her medical studies at Katuri Medical College, Guntur, earning an MBBS degree. Alongside academics, she trained in classical dance forms such as Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam, which enriched her artistic background.
Her acting career began with the critically acclaimed Telugu film Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya (2020), where she played the role of Jyothi. The performance earned her widespread recognition and the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut Actress. She later signed her first Tamil film Yamakaathagi (2022) and continues to work in Telugu and Tamil cinema, including her recent project Neelira (2026).
