Biography

Ryan Reynolds began acting at age 13, landing his first role in the teen soap opera Hillside (1991–1993). He later starred in the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl (1998–2001), which showcased his comedic timing and helped him transition into film. His early movie roles included National Lampoon’s Van Wilder (2002), Blade: Trinity (2004), and The Proposal (2009). Despite setbacks with superhero films like Green Lantern (2011), Reynolds persevered and reinvented himself with Deadpool (2016), which became a global hit and earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

Beyond acting, Reynolds has become a successful entrepreneur. He co-owns the Welsh football club Wrexham AFC, documented in the Emmy-winning series Welcome to Wrexham.
