Sadhu Kokila began his career as a music composer before transitioning into acting, where he became famous for his comedic roles. His debut as an actor came with Sorry (1992), and he later directed films such as Raktha Kanneeru (2003). Over the years, he has acted in hundreds of Kannada films, often providing comic relief, while also working as a director, producer, lyricist, and screenwriter.
He is a two-time Karnataka State Film Award winner for Best Music Director, recognized for Rakshasa (2005) and Inthi Ninna Preethiya (2008). His versatility extends beyond cinema, as he is also a singer and has contributed significantly to the Kannada entertainment industry.
