Samuel Henry John Worthington, born on August 2, 1976, in Godalming, Surrey, England, is an acclaimed Australian actor who rose to prominence through both independent cinema and blockbuster Hollywood films. His family relocated to Australia when he was just six months old, and he grew up in Warnbro, a suburb of Perth. After completing his studies at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney in 1998, Worthington quickly established himself as a versatile performer.
