Biography

Sanjay Kapoor, born on 1965-10-17 in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra, is an Indian actor and producer who works primarily in Hindi films and television. He is the youngest son of producer Surinder Kapoor and brother to filmmaker Boney Kapoor and actor Anil Kapoor. His sister is Reena Kapoor.

He made his acting debut with Prem (1995), but his breakthrough came with Raja (1995), opposite Madhuri Dixit. He went on to star in films like Auzaar (1997), Sirf Tum (1999), and Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe (2002). After a period of fewer film roles, he reinvented himself with television and digital projects, earning praise for Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara (2017–2018), The Gone Game (2020–2022), and The Fame Game (2022).

Sanjay is married toMaheep Kapoor (since 1997), a jewellery designer and reality TV personality (Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives). They have two children, Shanaya Kapoor (an upcoming actress) and Jahaan Kapoor.
