Sankalp Reddy is an acclaimed Telugu film director and screenwriter, best known for his debut film Ghazi (2017), which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. Born on 1984-10-20 in Hyderabad, he has since directed notable projects like Antariksham 9000 KMPH (2018) and is currently working on large-scale upcoming films.

Sankalp Reddy was born on 1984-10-20 in Hyderabad, Telangana. He completed his engineering degree at CVR College of Engineering before moving to Australia for an MBA at Griffith University, Brisbane. However, his passion for cinema led him to drop out and join Griffith Film School, where he pursued an MFA in film direction. His early research into submarines inspired him to write a book titled The Blue Fish, which later became the foundation for his debut film Ghazi.

His directorial debut, Ghazi (2017), was a Pan-Indian war drama based on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and it earned him national recognition. He followed it with Antariksham 9000 KMPH (2018), a science fiction space thriller, showcasing his versatility in handling different genres. Sankalp Reddy is now considered one of the most innovative filmmakers in Telugu cinema, blending technical brilliance with compelling storytelling.
