Seema Sajdeh was born into a Punjabi family in Delhi and later raised in Mumbai. From childhood, she displayed a keen interest in fashion and design, often experimenting with fabrics and sketching outfits. Her father’s garment export business exposed her to the world of textiles, which nurtured her creativity. She completed her schooling at the American School of Bombay and pursued higher education at Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College in Mumbai. Later, she refined her skills in fashion designing through specialized courses.
Her career began in the late 1990s when she launched her own fashion label, Seema Khan, which quickly became popular among Bollywood celebrities. She co-founded the elite boutique Bandra 190 in Mumbai, catering to high-profile clients. Over the years, she designed for stars like Malaika Arora, Kareena Kapoor, and Gauri Khan. Seema’s visibility skyrocketed with her role in Netflix’s Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, where she showcased her personal and professional life alongside other star wives. Her bold personality and independence, especially after her divorce from actor Sohail Khan in 2022, made her an inspiration for many women balancing career and family.
Today, Seema Sajdeh is recognized not only for her fashion ventures but also for her entrepreneurial spirit and media presence. She continues to expand her brand while remaining a prominent figure in India’s fashion and entertainment industry.
