Shane Nigam was born on 1995-12-21 in Kochi, Kerala, to mimicry artist Kalabhavan Abi and Sunila. He is the eldest of three children, with two younger sisters, Ahana and Aleena. He studied at Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, and later pursued engineering at Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, Kochi. His early exposure to the arts through his father’s career inspired him to enter films.
He made his debut as a child actor in Thanthonni (2010) and later appeared in Annayum Rasoolum (2013). His breakthrough came with Kismath (2016), which earned him multiple awards. Shane quickly rose to prominence with Parava (2017) and Kumbalangi Nights (2019), both critically acclaimed. In 2023, he starred in RDX: Robert Dony Xavier, a blockbuster that cemented his position as one of the most bankable young stars in Malayalam cinema.
