Sharwanand was born on 1984-03-06 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. He completed his schooling in Hyderabad and later graduated from Wesley College. His acting career began in 2004 with Aidho Tareekhu, and he quickly gained recognition for his intense roles in films such as Prasthanam and Run Raja Run. His Tamil debut came with Kadhalna Summa Illai (2009), and he won the SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut – Tamil for Engeyum Eppodhum (2011).
Over the years, Sharwanand has built a reputation for balancing commercial success with critically acclaimed performances. He won the Nandi Special Jury Award for Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju (2015).
