Her birth name is Sindhu C.L., and she hails from Kodagu (Coorg), Karnataka.

She grew up in what she describes as an extremely conservative family in Bangalore.

Academically, she holds a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Reva University, Bangalore.

She made her film debut with a cameo role in Parichaya (2009), before gaining recognition in Lifeu Ishtene (2011).

Sindhu has acted in multiple languages, including Tamil (Vaada Poda Nanbargal, 2011) and Telugu (Ambar Caterers, 2017).

She won the SIIMA Award for Best Short Film Actor (Female) in 2020 for her performance in I Am 30!.

Alongside acting, she has worked as a model for several brands, including Nelli Silks, Lawrence and Mayo, Assendas India, Lancer Developers, and Canara Bank.

She is married to Shreyas Kodial, and continues to balance her career in films, modeling, and digital platforms.
