Sreeja Ravi began her dubbing career in 1975 with G. Aravindan’s Uttarayanam. Over the years, she became the voice behind countless heroines in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, earning immense respect for her versatility. She has won four Kerala State Film Awards, one Tamil Nadu State Film Award, two Kerala Film Critics Awards, and a Kerala State Television Award for her dubbing work.
Her ability to speak multiple languages—including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali, English, Sanskrit, and Kannada—helped her expand her career into foreign productions as well. She is also the mother of actress and dubbing artist Raveena Ravi, continuing her family’s legacy in the industry.
