Biography

Sundeep Kishan, born on 1987-05-07 in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, is an Indian actor and producer who primarily works in Telugu and Tamil films. He made his acting debut with Prasthanam (2010) and later appeared in Shor in the City (2011) in Hindi and Maranthen Mannithen (2012) in Tamil. His breakthrough came with Gundello Godari and Venkatadri Express (2013). After a brief career slump, he regained success with Maanagaram (2017), Maayavan (2017), A1 Express (2021), Gully Rowdy (2021), and more recently Captain Miller (2024) and Raayan (2024), the latter being his highest-grossing film. He also gained national recognition for his role as Major Vikram in the Amazon Prime Video series The Family Man (2019).

Raised in a Telugu family, Sundeep is the nephew of cinematographers Chota K. Naidu and Shyam K. Naidu. He studied at Loyola College, Chennai, graduating in Mass Communication. In 2008, he moved to Hyderabad to pursue acting. Known for his versatility and stylish screen presence, he has become a familiar face in South Indian cinema and continues to expand his career across languages.
