Sushant Singh Rajput, born on 21 January 1986 in Patna, Bihar, was an Indian actor whose journey from engineering student to Bollywood star remains inspiring. Raised in a middle-class family, he excelled academically, securing admission to Delhi College of Engineering after ranking seventh in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination. However, his passion for performance led him to drop out and pursue acting and dance. He joined Shiamak Davar’s dance troupe and later trained at Barry John’s acting classes, which opened doors to theatre and television. His breakthrough came with the TV serial Pavitra Rishta, where his portrayal of Manav made him a household name. Transitioning to films, he debuted in Kai Po Che! (2013), earning critical acclaim. He went on to star in successful films like Shuddh Desi Romance, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, Sonchiriya, and Chhichhore.
