Biography

Suvinder Vicky is a versatile Indian actor who has earned recognition through powerful performances in Punjabi films, Hindi cinema and streaming projects. Born on March 4, 1973, in Sirsa, Haryana, he later moved with his family to Chandigarh, where he completed his schooling. He pursued higher education at Punjabi University, Patiala, earning a postgraduate degree in Theatre and Television.

Vicky developed an interest in acting at an early age and became involved with theatre before moving into television and films. His television debut came with Full Tension on DD National in 1995. He subsequently entered Punjabi cinema with Des Hoyaa Pardes in 2004.

He later appeared in Hindi films including Udta Punjab, where he played Kakku, and Kesari, in which he portrayed Naik Lal Singh. His performance as Ghalib, a truck driver dealing with personal loss, in Milestone received considerable critical appreciation.

Vicky's biggest breakthrough came with the Netflix crime drama Kohrra, where he played Sub-Inspector Balbir Singh. His restrained and emotionally complex performance established him as a prominent character actor in the Indian streaming space. He also appeared in CAT, Paatal Lok and several Punjabi productions.

In 2026, Vicky continues to expand his Hindi-film presence, including appearances in Awarapan 2 and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. In Awarapan 2, he plays Jaideep, a character he described as a wise man shaped by life experiences.
