Tom Nowicki grew up in Detroit before moving to Florida, where his passion for acting was sparked by a high school English teacher who encouraged him to audition for a school play. He pursued higher education at Yale University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, and later trained at the Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York City and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. His early career included time as a professional wrestler under the persona “Lord Larry Oliver, Evil Genius of the South” in the Dixie Wrestling Alliance.
Transitioning fully into acting, Nowicki built a career across film, television, and stage, amassing over 160 credits. His notable performances include appearances in The Blind Side alongside Sandra Bullock, Remember the Titans, The Punisher, and Reptile. He also starred in the roller derby series RollerJam as Kenneth Loge III. His versatility and dedication have made him a respected character actor in Hollywood and beyond.
