Biography

Trisha Krishnan is one of the most celebrated actresses in South Indian cinema, often called the “Queen of South India.” Born on 1983-05-04 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, she has sustained a career spanning over two decades in Tamil and Telugu films, winning multiple Filmfare Awards South and other honors.

Trisha Krishnan entered the entertainment industry after winning the Miss Chennai pageant in 1999, which opened doors to modeling and acting. She made her film debut with a supporting role in Jodi (1999) and rose to fame with her first lead role in Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002). Her breakthrough came with the Telugu film Varsham (2004), which earned her widespread acclaim and awards. Over the years, she has starred in blockbuster films like Saamy (2003), Ghilli (2004), Aaru (2005), Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), and Abhiyum Naanum (2008).

Beyond her acting career, Trisha has been recognized for her versatility and longevity in the industry. She has also acted in Hindi (Khatta Meetha, 2010), Kannada (Power, 2014), and Malayalam (Hey Jude, 2018) films, expanding her reach across Indian cinema.
