Biography

Usha Jadhav, born on 1987-11-03 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, is a versatile actress who has made her mark in Marathi and Hindi films. She began her career with small roles in films like Traffic Signal (2007) and later rose to fame with Dhag (2012), where she played Yashoda, a mother struggling against societal norms. Her performance earned her the National Film Award for Best Actress at the 60th National Film Awards.

She has since appeared in films such as Mai Ghat: Crime No 103/2015 (2019), which won her the IFFI Best Actor Award (Female), and Ram Gopal Varma’s Veerappan (2016). Usha has also worked internationally and currently resides in Spain. Known for her dedication to realistic portrayals, she remains one of the most respected actresses in contemporary Indian cinema.
