Biography

Vedita Pratap Singh, born on 9 October 1987 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is a talented Indian actress and model. She studied at Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer, and later graduated from Xavier’s College, Mumbai. During her school years, she won a National Swimming Scholarship from the Sports Authority of India and actively participated in theatre productions. Her early recognition came when she won the Channel V show "India’s Hottest" (2008–2009), which opened doors for her in the entertainment industry.

Her film debut was with Bhindi Bazaar Inc. (2011), followed by notable performances in Mumbai 125 KM (2014), where she played the female lead, and JD (2017), portraying a journalist. She also appeared in The Hidden Strike (2020) as an Indian Army officer. Apart from films, Vedita has acted in theatre productions, including Kadar Khan’s Taash Ki Patti, staged across India and Dubai. She has also worked in television, playing a cop in SuperCops Vs Super Villains.
