Vijay Suriya is a popular Kannada actor and television presenter who has built a successful career in both television and cinema. Born on September 7, 1990, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, he completed his schooling at Clarence Public School and later pursued his studies at Christ College before enrolling at Subhash Ghai's prestigious Whistling Woods International acting academy in Mumbai.
Before entering the entertainment industry, Vijay worked as a model and won the Bengaluru Mega Model Hunt in 2011. His acting journey began with the Kannada film Crazy Loka in 2012. However, he rose to fame through the highly successful Kannada television serial Agnisakshi, where he played Siddharth. The role made him a household name across Karnataka and earned him a loyal fan following.
Following his television success, Vijay appeared in films such as Ishtakamya, Sa, Kaddu Mucchi, Switch { Case N and several other Kannada projects. He also hosted the popular comedy show Comedy Talkies on Colors Kannada.
In 2019, Vijay married Chaitra, a family friend and IT professional. The couple has two children. Apart from acting, he is admired for his humble personality and close bond with his mother, Lalitamba, who has played an important role in managing his professional career.
