Biography
Adarsh Gourav is an Indian actor, singer, and songwriter, known for his versatile performances in Hindi and English-language films. Born on July 8, 1994, in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, he hails from a Telugu-speaking family and was raised in Mumbai. His early passion for music led him to train in Hindustani classical music for nine years, before transitioning into acting.
Gourav made his acting debut as a child artist in My Name Is Khan (2010), where he played the younger version of Shah Rukh Khan’s character. His breakthrough role came in The White Tiger (2021), where he portrayed Balram Halwai, earning him international recognition and a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He has also starred in Hostel Daze (2019–2021), Guns & Gulaabs (2023), and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023), showcasing his range across genres.
Apart from acting, Gourav has been involved in theatre and music, performing in progressive rock bands and working as a playback singer for Bollywood films.
