Biography

Aishwarya Arjun is an Indian actress and model, primarily known for her work in Tamil and Kannada cinema. Born on February 10, 1990, in Bangalore, Karnataka, she is the daughter of renowned actor-director Arjun Sarja and former actress Niveditha Arjun. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the film industry, she has been passionate about acting since childhood.

Aishwarya made her film debut in Pattathu Yaanai (2013), a Tamil action-comedy where she starred opposite Vishal. She later ventured into Kannada cinema with Prema Baraha (2018), a romantic drama directed by her father, Arjun Sarja. Her performance as Madhu, a journalist caught in a love story amidst the Kargil War, was well received, earning her the Filmibeat Award for Best Debutant Actress (Kannada).

Apart from acting, Aishwarya has pursued fashion management at Birmingham City University, England, showcasing her interest in the creative arts. She is also a trained dancer, proficient in classical, contemporary, and Bollywood dance forms. In 2021, she participated in Zee Tamil’s reality show Survivor, where she met her future husband, actor Umapathy Ramaiah. With her growing presence in South Indian cinema, Aishwarya continues to explore diverse roles, making her a promising talent in the industry.
