Biography

Amala Paul is an Indian actress and producer who has appeared in over 60 movies, primarily in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films. She was born on October 26, 1991 in Ernakulam, Kerala, and has a brother named Abijith Paul who has also appeared in films. 

Paul first appeared in a supporting role in the 2009 Malayalam film Neelathamara. She gained recognition for her portrayal of a controversial character in Sindhu Samaveli, and then for her title role in Mynaa, for which she won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress. She has also appeared in Aadai, Aadujeevitham, and Velaiyilla Pattathari. 

Paul has 13 wins and 14 nominations, and has songs including "Ethrayum Dayayulla (F)", "Hey Nethu Nightfulla (Dialogues)", and "Brother Sutha Thangam (Dialogues)".
