Born on 27 June 2000 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Anikriti began her career as a child artist at the age of four, appearing in album songs and documentary videos with the support of her uncle Anand Laxman, a cameraman and filmmaker. She went on to feature in over 200 music videos before making her film debut in Laila Tip Top Chhaila Aguta Chap (2012) in a supporting role.
