Anushka Shetty, whose real name is Sweety Shetty, is an Indian actress who appears in Telugu and Tamil films. She was born on November 7, 1981 in Mangalore, Karnataka. She has two elder brothers, Gunaranjan Shetty and Sai Ramesh Shetty, and her parents are Prafulla and A. N. Vittal Shetty. She has a Bachelor of Computer Applications from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore and has also trained as a yoga instructor. She speaks Tulu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English. 

Shetty made her acting debut in the 2005 Telugu film Super and has appeared in more than 60 movies, including Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty (2023). She has won three Filmfare Awards South, two Nandi Awards, two SIIMA Awards, and one Tamil Nadu State Film Award.
