Biography
Archita Sahu is a celebrated Indian actress, model, and television personality, primarily known for her work in the Odia film industry. Born on June 29, 1990, in Rourkela, Odisha, she later moved to Bhubaneswar, where she pursued her education at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, earning a B.Tech in Information Technology.
Archita made her acting debut in 2005 with O My Love, quickly establishing herself as one of the leading actresses in Odia cinema. Over the years, she has starred in numerous successful films, including Chocolate (2011), ACP Sagarika (2013), and Smile Please (2014). Her performances have earned her four Odisha State Film Awards, solidifying her reputation as a versatile and talented actress.
Apart from acting, Archita is a trained classical Odissi dancer, having won a national scholarship for her expertise in the art form. She has also been actively involved in social causes, serving as the state ambassador for UNICEF and the Government of Odisha’s child labor eradication campaign.
In 2021, Archita married fellow Odia actor Sabyasachi Mishra, further strengthening her connection to the industry. With a career spanning nearly two decades, she continues to be a prominent figure in Odia cinema, admired for her talent, grace, and dedication to both entertainment and social activism.
