Biography

Bibin George, born on March 29, 1988, in Kerala, is a celebrated actor and screenwriter in the Malayalam film industry, known for his heartfelt storytelling and relatable characters. Despite being affected by polio at a young age, Bibin turned adversity into strength, becoming one of the few actors in Indian cinema to break barriers with both his pen and performance.

He began his career as a comedy writer and performer, contributing to popular Malayalam TV shows like Comedy Cousins and Badai Bungalow. His breakthrough came in 2015 when he co-wrote the blockbuster Amar Akbar Anthony with close collaborator Vishnu Unnikrishnan. The duo followed it up with Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan (2016), where Bibin also played a supporting role, and Oru Yamandan Premakadha (2019), starring Dulquer Salmaan.

Bibin made his lead acting debut in Oru Pazhaya Bomb Kadha (2018), becoming the first polio-affected actor to headline a Malayalam film. His performance was widely appreciated for its sincerity and humor. He continued to act in films like Margamkali, Thirimali, Shylock, and Vedikkettu (2023), which he also co-directed.

Off-screen, Bibin is admired for his resilience and positive outlook. He is married to Philomena Greeshma, and the couple has a daughter. His journey from mimicry artist to screenwriter, and eventually to lead actor and director, is a testament to his passion and perseverance.
