Binnu Dhillon is a celebrated Punjabi actor, comedian, and film producer, known for his impeccable comic timing and versatile performances in Punjabi cinema. Born on August 29, 1975, in Dhuri, Punjab, Dhillon pursued a post-graduate degree in theatre and television from Punjabi University, Patiala, which laid the foundation for his acting career.

Dhillon initially started as a Bhangra performer, representing India at festivals in Germany and the UK. His television debut came in 1998 with the serial Paddu, directed by Gurbir Singh Grewal. He went on to feature in several popular TV serials, including Sarhad, Lori, and Gaoundi Dharti. His transition to films was marked by small roles in Bollywood movies like Shaheed-E-Azam and Dev D before he became a household name in Punjabi cinema.

His breakthrough came with Carry On Jatta (2012), where his comic timing won audiences over. He continued to deliver hits like Sirphire, Raula Pai Gaya, Lucky Di Unlucky Story, Rangeelay, and Vekh Baraatan Challiyan. Dhillon also ventured into film production, establishing Binnu Dhillon Productions, which has backed several successful Punjabi films.

Beyond acting, Dhillon has directed plays, including Naughty Baba in Town, performed in Canada and the USA. He is married to Gurjinder Kaur and has two daughters.
