Brinda Acharya is an Indian actress known for her versatile performances in the Kannada film industry, transitioning from engineering to cinema with remarkable success.

Born on 18 September 1994 in Balkur, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, Brinda Acharya pursued her education in Electronics and Communication Engineering at KLE Society’s Lingaraj College, Belagavi. Before entering films, she worked as an IT system engineer at TCS Mumbai and later at Infosys in Bengaluru, showcasing her professional versatility. Her acting journey began with a role in the television series Shani, where she played Damini, Shani’s wife. She made her Kannada film debut in 2021 with Premam Poojyam, which also marked actor Nenapirali Prem’s 25th film. Her performance earned her the Best Actor Debut – Female award in 2022. Brinda gained wider recognition with Juliet 2 (2023), a female-centric action film praised for her strong portrayal, and achieved her breakthrough with Kousalya Supraja Rama in the same year. Known for her screen presence, emotional depth, and ability to balance romantic dramas with action-oriented roles, she continues to be celebrated as one of Sandalwood’s promising talents.
