Chaitra Reddy is a talented Indian actress known for her work in Kannada and Tamil television and films. Born on July 23, 1995, in Bangalore, Karnataka, she pursued a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) before stepping into the entertainment industry.
Chaitra began her acting career in 2014 with the Kannada television serial Avanu Mathe Shravani, where she played the lead role of Shravani. She later transitioned into Tamil television, gaining recognition for her negative role as Swetha in Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2017-2021), which ran for over four years. Her portrayal earned her the Best Villain (Female) Award at the Behindwoods Icon Awards in 2021.
In 2021, she took on the lead role of Kayalvizhi Muthuvel in Kayal, a popular Tamil serial that further cemented her status as a household name. Her performance won her the Best Heroine Award at the Sun TV Awards in 2022.
Chaitra made her Kannada film debut in Rugged (2019) and later appeared in Tamil films like Valimai (2022), Vishamakaran (2022), and Vattam (2022). She continues to explore diverse roles across television and cinema.
