He was born on December 20, 1988 in Thalassery, Kerala, India.
He is the younger son of actor and screenwriter Sreenivasan and Vimala.
His brother Vineeth Sreenivasan is a singer, actor, and director who also works in Malayalam cinema.
Dhyan made his acting debut in 2013 with the Malayalam film Thira, directed by his brother.
He has appeared in several movies after his debut such as Kunjiramayanam (2015), Adi Kapyare Kootamani (2015), Ore Mukkhan (2016) and Goodalochana (2017).
