Diamond Ratnababu is a notable Indian filmmaker and screenwriter known for his contributions to Telugu cinema. He began his career as a writer, making his debut with the action film Sher (2015), and later penned scripts for movies like Luck Unnodu (2017) and Gayatri (2018), a crime drama starring Shriya Saran and directed by R. R. Madan. His writing style often blends commercial elements with socially relevant themes, laying the groundwork for his transition into directing.
Ratnababu made his directorial debut with Burra Katha (2019), starring Aadi Saikumar.
