Biography

Dina Umarova is a Russian-born model, entrepreneur, and television personality who gained prominence in India after marrying actor Vindu Dara Singh. Born on October 24, 1976, in Novosibirsk, Russia, Dina pursued her education at the Siberian Institute of Management and the Siberian University of Consumer Cooperatives. She began her career in modeling, walking the ramp for various fashion shows and gaining attention with her 2010 Cloud 9 calendar shoot by photographer Manish Chaturvedi.

Dina made her Indian television debut in 2011 with the reality show Maa Exchange, where she swapped lives with actress Tanaaz Currim. She later participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 4, finishing in the top four, and appeared alongside her husband in Power Couple (2015) and Nach Baliye 9 (2019). Fluent in Russian, English, German, and Hindi, Dina has embraced Indian culture while maintaining her international roots.

In 2015, she became the Managing Director of BlueSky – India, a company specializing in nail gel products. Her entrepreneurial journey reflects her passion for beauty and wellness, and she has been instrumental in expanding the brand’s presence in India.

Dina is also known for her love of animals, travel, and literature—particularly the works of Paulo Coelho. She shares a daughter, Amelia Randhawa, with Vindu Dara Singh and is stepmother to Fateh Randhawa.
