Farina Azad, born on November 9, 1990, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is a prominent Indian television actress and anchor known for her work in Tamil television. Fondly called “Kitchen Farina” and “VJ Farina,” she began her career as a television presenter, hosting shows like Kitchen Galatta, Kollywood Uncut, Anjarai Petti, and Showreel across major channels such as Sun TV, Zee Tamil, Vijay TV, and Raj TV.

Farina made her acting debut in the Tamil serial Azhagu alongside Naresh Eswar, which aired on Sun TV. Her breakthrough role came as Dr. Venba, the antagonist in Bharathi Kannamma on Star Vijay, which earned her widespread recognition for her powerful performance. She continued to appear in several popular serials including Thari, Nachiyarpuram, Abhi Tailor, and Bharathi Kannamma 2. She also participated in reality shows like Mr & Mrs Khiladis, Super Mom, and Mr and Mrs Chinnathirai Season 4, where she finished as the second runner-up.
