Fatima Sana Shaikh is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi cinema. Born on January 11, 1992, in Hyderabad, India, she was raised in Mumbai, where she pursued her education at St. Xavier’s High School and Mithibai College. Before stepping into acting full-time, she gained experience in photography, which remains one of her passions.

Shaikh began her acting career as a child artist in films like Chachi 420 (1997) and One 2 Ka 4 (2001). However, her breakthrough role came in 2016 when she portrayed Geeta Phogat, an Indian wrestler, in Dangal. The film became a massive success, earning over ?2,000 crore worldwide and establishing her as a promising talent in Bollywood. To prepare for the role, she underwent rigorous wrestling training alongside co-star Sanya Malhotra, under the guidance of professional coaches.

Following Dangal, Shaikh appeared in films like Thugs of Hindostan (2018), Ludo (2020), and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari (2020).
