Gautami Kapoor, born Gautami Gadgil in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a celebrated Indian actress known for her work in television, film, and modeling. She began her career as a model at the age of 16 and transitioned into acting with the Marathi thriller Bindhast (1999), where she played the role of Mayuri. Her early television appearances included shows like Saturday Suspense, Family No. 1, and CID, which showcased her versatility and screen presence.
Her breakthrough came with the Star Plus series Kehta Hai Dil (2002), where she portrayed Dr. Jaya Aditya Pratap Singh, earning her widespread recognition. Gautami further solidified her television career with roles in Ghar Ek Mandir, Dhadkan, Lipstick, and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, where she played Juhi Jas Thakral. She is also known for her role in Parvarrish – Season 2 and the Disney+ Hotstar series Special OPS, where she played Saroj Singh.
