Biography

Hiten Tejwani is a well-known Indian television and film actor, celebrated for his versatile performances in some of the most iconic Hindi serials. Born on 5 March 1974 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, into a Sindhi Hindu family, he began his career in modeling before stepping into acting. His television debut came with Ghar Ek Mandir (2000), but he rose to fame with Kutumb (2001–2003), where he played Pratham Mittal. He later became a household name with his portrayal of Karan Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Anurag Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, cementing his place as one of the most popular faces of Indian television during the early 2000s. His natural charm and ability to portray both romantic and intense roles made him a fan favorite.

Beyond television, Hiten Tejwani has also acted in films such as Joggers Park (2003), Krishna Cottage (2004), and Anwar (2007), while continuing to dominate the small screen with shows like Pavitra Rishta (2009–2014), where he played Manav Deshmukh. In 2017, he participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 11, further expanding his popularity. Married to actress Gauri Pradhan since 2004, the couple is regarded as one of television’s most admired pairs and are parents to twins, Nevaan and Katya. With a career spanning over two decades, Hiten remains active in both television and films, admired for his consistency, professionalism, and enduring appeal in the Indian entertainment industry.
