Biography

Hrithik Roshan is a celebrated Indian actor known for his versatile performances and exceptional dancing skills. Born on January 10, 1974, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, he hails from a prominent film family—his father, Rakesh Roshan, is a renowned filmmaker, and his uncle, Rajesh Roshan, is a music composer. 

Hrithik made his debut in Bollywood with Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000), which became a blockbuster, earning him two Filmfare Awards for Best Actor and Best Male Debut. His career soared with films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Koi... Mil Gaya (2003), Dhoom 2 (2006), Jodhaa Akbar (2008), and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). 

Known for his dedication to fitness, Hrithik has undergone remarkable physical transformations for roles in Krrish (2006), Super 30 (2019), and War (2019). His charismatic screen presence and action-packed performances have made him one of India's highest-paid actors. 

Beyond films, Hrithik has judged the dance reality show Just Dance (2011), launched his clothing brand HRX, and actively supports humanitarian causes. Despite personal challenges, including divorcing Sussanne Khan in 2014, he remains a beloved icon in Indian cinema.
