Irshad Ali, professionally known as Irshad, is an Indian actor recognized for his contributions to Malayalam cinema. Hailing from Thrissur, Kerala, he has built a career spanning over two decades, appearing in a mix of art-house films and mainstream cinema. His performances are often praised for their depth and realism, making him a respected name in the industry.
Irshad made his debut in Sibi Malayil’s Pranayavarnangal (1998) and gained recognition with films like Garshom (1999) and Dany (2002). Throughout the years, he has worked with acclaimed filmmakers such as T. V. Chandran, P. T. Kunju Muhammed, and K. R. Mohanan, taking on roles that highlight his versatility. Some of his most notable films include Pulijanmam (2006), Vilapangalkkappuram (2008), and Bhoomi Malayalam (2009). He has also played supporting roles in Paradesi (2007), Veettilekkulla Vazhi (2010), and other critically acclaimed projects.
