Ishan Shoukath is an emerging talent in Malayalam cinema, recognized for his versatility and international beginnings in theatre and short films.
Born on January 1, 1987 in Kerala, India, Ishan Shoukath developed a passion for performance early in life. He pursued his education and later moved to the United States, where he honed his craft through theatre. His exposure to stage acting gave him a strong foundation in emotional depth and character work, which would later define his film career.
Ishan’s first major recognition came with his short film Deadline (2023), which was selected for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, earning him international attention even before his entry into mainstream cinema. His feature film debut arrived with Marco (2024), a box office success that established him as a promising new face in Malayalam films. He followed this with Padakkalam (2025) and the much-anticipated Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies (2025), where he starred alongside Arjun Ashokan and Roshan Mathew.
