Jamie Lever is the daughter of comedian Johnny Lever (John Prakash Rao Janumala) and Sujata Janumala. She has a younger brother named Jesse.
Jamie has a Master of Marketing Communications degree from the University of Westminster, London.
She started her career in 2012 as a marketing executive at Visiongain, a London-based market research agency.
In 2012, she began performing stand-up comedy in India at The Comedy Store, Mumbai.
In 2013, she made her television debut on Sony Entertainment Television's Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali.
She is known for her roles in Hindi films like Housefull 4 (2019), Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015), Bhoot Police (2021), Yaatris (2023), and Crakk (2024).
She is also known for her funny impersonations of Bollywood celebrities on comedy shows and social media.
Since 2014, she has toured worldwide and done over 160 sold out shows as part of the tour of Johny Lever Live.
