Jangiri Madhumitha is an Indian actress known for her work in Tamil cinema and television, particularly in comedy roles. Born on April 21, 1983, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, she gained popularity through her performances in films and reality shows. Her breakthrough came with the 2012 film Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, where she played the role of "Jangiri," earning her the nickname that has stuck with her ever since.

Before entering films, Madhumitha started her career in television with Lollu Sabha, a popular Tamil comedy show.
