Kamal Haasan is a legendary Indian actor, filmmaker, and politician, widely regarded as one of the greatest actors in Indian cinema history. Born on November 7, 1954, in Paramakudi, Tamil Nadu, he began his career as a child artist in the 1960 Tamil film Kalathur Kannamma, earning a President’s Gold Medal for his performance. Over the decades, he has established himself as a versatile performer, known for his ability to portray complex characters across various genres.

Haasan has won four National Film Awards, nine Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, and multiple Filmfare Awards, making him one of the most decorated actors in India.
