Kavin Raj, born on June 22, 1990, in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, is a rising star in Tamil cinema and television. He began his career with Star Vijay’s college drama Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, portraying the character Siva. His breakthrough came with the popular serial Saravanan Meenatchi, where he played Murugan and later Vettaiyan (Saravana Perumal) in its second season. His performance earned him the Vijay Television Award for Favourite Hero in 2015.

Kavin transitioned to films with minor roles in Pizza (2012) and Indru Netru Naalai (2015), followed by a supporting role in Sathriyan (2017). He made his debut as a lead actor in Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma (2019), showcasing his comedic timing and screen presence2.
