Biography

Kumud Mishra is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. He is known for playing supporting and antagonistic roles. His first role was in the 1995 Doordarshan drama Swabhimaan, where he played Eknath, a trade union leader. His career took off after he starred as Khatana alongside Rishi Kapoor's son Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar in 2011. He has also appeared in the Amazon Prime Video series Tandav (2021) and Netflix's spy action movie Mission Majnu (2023). 

Mishra has been nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for Thappad in 2021 and an IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actor for Thappad in 2022. 

Mishra has been a prominent presence on stage for almost 20 years at Prithvi Theatre. In 2013, he co-founded the theatrical group "D for Drama" with two other members. His group produced the play Dhumrapaan, which was chosen for the 2017 META Awards. 

Mishra has been married to Ayesha Raza since 2008 and they have a child named Kabir.
