Mukesh Tiwari was born on 24 August 1969 in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India.

He grew up in a modest family; his father passed away when he was young, and his mother raised him single-handedly.

He studied at Dr. Hari Singh Gour University in Sagar before graduating from the National School of Drama (NSD) in 1994.

His film debut was in China Gate (1998), where his performance was widely appreciated.

He is best known for playing negative and comic roles, showing his versatility across genres.

His portrayal of “Vasooli Bhai” in the Golmaal series became iconic and earned him cult popularity.

He has acted in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Punjabi films.

Some of his most acclaimed works include The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002) and Gangaajal (2003).

He is married to Violet Nazir Tiwari and has one child.
